Rosedale - neighbourhood

serenity within city confines

Rosedale is filled with lush greenery, gorgeous homes and winding roads that welcome you to the neighbourhood. For over one hundred years Rosedale has held the distinction of being Toronto’s most fashionable address. Most unique feature of Rosedale is being surrounded by beautiful ravines and parkland that make you feel as if you are far away from the city, while in reality you are just a few minutes from all Toronto’s major access points. Because it was built along ravines and surrounded by so much green space, traffic and vehicle noise in Rosedale is very minimal. For an area that is just a few minutes from Toronto’s major business, entertainment, and shopping districts…  its serenity is truly unmatched.

network of ancient ravines

Rosedale is traversed by a network of ancient ravines, including the Vale of Avoca, Moore Park, Park Drive and Rosedale Valley ravines. The beautiful trails in these ravines are enjoyed by nature, and fitness enthusiasts alike. Access points to Rosedale’s ravine trails are located at designated spots throughout the neighbourhood. Rosedale & Ramsden Parks offer tennis courts, sports fields, artificial ice rinks, pool & more.

Rosedale Golf Club

One of the oldest golfing institutions in the greater Toronto area, Rosedale Golf Club was established in the Don Valley back in 1893 as Deer Park Golf Club with the original golf course laid out on the site of Rosedale Field, as it’s called nowadays.

From the elevated tee shot down into the valley on the 1st hole through to the wonderful 17th green, the course is an absolute joy. The uphill par three 13th is one of the toughest short holes to be found anywhere in the country
